I want to introduce myself. First off my Name is Allison. I am doing this Blog to talk about my success during my Life Adventure with Take Shape for Life. Take shape for life is a Medi Fast program that offers a free health coach. It is a 5 and 1 meal plan where you eat 5 of their meals and 1 Lean and Green meal. I am not going to lie it is the easiest weight loss program that I have ever done * note that everyone is different and everything works differently for everyone * but hey If I can do it so can you.
My success so far.
Week 1- This week sucked. It was the hardest week of all
- I dramatically lost 10 pounds which is not normal. You usually loose between 2-5 per week.
This week I felt hungry all the time and it was hard. But trust me I got through week one so can you.
Week 2- Much easier but still getting use to it.
I lost another 5 pounds.
I am not near as hungry this week. There were days when i would burn a lot of calories and I would be extra hungry those days. But hey I just ate some extra protein and pushed through it. ( might I add It each Martial Arts and burn more than the average person every day.so I watch my calories burned to declare if I should eat an extra meal.)
Week 3 - The best week of all
This week I lost 4 pounds
This was the week when i got this burst of energy! I was running faster than ever before. I was more into my workout this week too! I was really getting into the swing of things. I loved the program at this point and it was so easy to grab and go.
Week 4 - More results than the scale can tell
I only lost 2 lbs this week
I was disappointed but honestly I was toning . I was begging to look different. I felt good and Martial Arts wise I was feeling better than ever when it came to getting into the ring to spare for Tae Kwon do.
Week 5 - The down Fall
I was off to a good start back to loosing about a pound a day and then i unfortunately had to get my appendix removed. I took a break from the food plan since i was on a pure liquid diet, out of my shakes, and besides i wasn't really eating in the first place. So honestly i didn't even get on the scale
Week 6- Im in it right now
This is hard for me into week six. I like to stay busy and don't like to have a lot of down time. Since the life change when I'm bored i would go for a run or do something active. But not this week I am completely restricted to my activity level and I am bored. Its hard to get back into the swing of things when people keep bringing me treats. Tomorrow I am ready. I am really ready to get back into it. A Life change like this is something that you have to want. If you don't want it you won't succeed. Sitting at home a lot isn't helping my motivation. But here it is tomorrow will be golden.
